Reducing Plastic

We know that plastic has a detrimental effect on our environment and dry cleaners have traditionally returned all items cleaned in plastic, whether it’s an evening dress or a duvet.

Whilst all our plastic wrapping can be recycled, we are aware that the polymers can still damage the environment so our aim is to reduce the use of plastic within the business.

This is how you can help.

Drop and go bag for bed linen

If you use our drop and go bag for bed linen it means we can return your clean bed linen in the bag you dropped it off in meaning we do not need to wrap it in plastic. Our bags cost only £4 and if they start looking tatty we will replace them for free!

Drop and go bag for clothes

Our drop and go bags for clothes have a drawstring and handle so you can put your dirty clothes in and secure them, but turns into a suit bag so your clothes are protected when returned to you. Costing only £6 and ideal for use with our 24/7 self-service pods. The bag costs only £6 and once it has seen better days, we will replace it for free!

Duvet bags

All our duvets are returned in breathable storage bags which means they do not come back to you wrapped in plastic. Not only is this better for the environment, but it also makes storage easy and ensures feather duvets can breathe and don’t smell when you next go to use them.

Ask for no plastic

If you are picking up your dry cleaning or laundry from our shop and happy to pop them straight into your car then why not ask us not to put them in plastic?

Use your own bag

Our drop and go bags are designed for dropping off and picking up laundry for dry cleaning and bed linen, but if you have a different bag that works as well and you would like us to use, just bring it in.
